The former head of the Competition Authority, John Fingleton, who subsequently headed the UK’s Office of Fair Trading, has established a consultancy service.
The website of Fingleton Associates, a London-based firm, says it provides strategic advice on the economics of competition, regulation and government policy directly to chief executives and senior business leaders.
“We help both established business and start-ups to achieve their strategic objectives in ways that are compliant with both the letter and spirit of the law.
“We are particularly keen to work with businesses who, through superior business models and/or disruptive new entry, contribute to productivity growth in the economy.” Mr Fingleton was chief executive of the Office of Fair Trading from 2005 to 2012.
