THREE COMPANIES seeking funding to expand their operations will go head-to-head for the title of “best investment proposal” in the Docklands Innovation Park Enterprise Awards.

The winner will receive a prize of €10,000.

Foxframe, an online advertising software company; Front Square Solutions, a social media group; and Nootrol, which is involved real-time supply chain monitoring, have been shortlisted for the award and will each have 20 minutes to present their investment proposals to a panel of judges.

The awards are in their ninth year and are supported by the Bolton Trust and DIT Hothouse. They are aimed at showcasing companies emerging from the Docklands Innovation Park on Dublin’s East Wall Road to investors.

Last year’s awards saw three companies secure more than €1.4 million in investment.

The panel of judges includes Damien Callaghan, investment director of Intel Capital, and entrepreneur Brian Caulfield, a non-executive director of The Irish Times Ltd.

The awards are sponsored by professional services firm PwC and will be presented on March 3rd.
