The anger of small business owners with the Government has increased, according to a survey by Isme, which shows the majority of small- and medium-sized enterprises are dissatsfied with the Government’s handling of jobs, banking and business costs.

Of 700 companies surveyed, Isme found 66 per cent were dissatisfied with the Government, with just 11 per cent saying they were satisfied. On jobs, 68 per cent said they were dissatsified with the Government, with only 8 per cent satisfied.

Isme chief executive Mark Fielding said: “The disappointing satisfaction ratings from SME business people is a clear reflection of the mood of the sector and a warning to Government that much more needs to be done in the struggle to come out of the crisis.”
