The Small Firms Association has called on the Government to honour its pre-election commitments in the forthcoming Budget. Ms Lorraine Sweeney, chairwoman of the SFA, has also called on the Government to implement the tax provisions agreed in Partnership 2000.

Ms Sweeney added that the last Budget provided a major boost for large businesses and that it was now "payback time" for the small business sector.
