SILVERMINES, the engineering and technology firm, has bought the avionics and accessories division of Britain's Hunting Aviation for a maximum consideration of Pounds 2.9 million sterling.

In a statement, Silvermines said the new division was one of Britain's largest independent operators providing repair and overhaul facilities for sophisticated avionics, instruments and electronic test equipment, and for electro-mechanical airframe and engine accessories.
