SIPTU branch secretary Mr Paul O'Sullivan has resigned to take up a post with Gallagher & Kelly Public Relations. He will head the firm's industrial relations practice.
A well-known trade unionist, Mr O'Sullivan led SIPTU's civil aviation branch from 1993-1998, encompassing the Cahill plan negotiations, crises at TEAM and the Ryanair dispute. More recently, he has been representing the professional grades in the health services.
