A DUBLIN BASED software development company is hoping for sales worth £10 million over the next three years, following the signing of a marketing and distribution deal with Visa International.

Peregrine Systems Ltd, founded in 1992, currently employs nine people but plans to expand to more than 30.

Under the deal, the first such contract signed by Visa International with an Irish company, two Peregrine products will be marketed as Visa branded products to the 21,000 banks which are Visa members. The potential market involved is about £1 billion.

The products, Merchant Chargeback System and Issuing Chargeback System, can be used by banks when dealing with disputed credit card transactions.
