The firm said it is expanding in response to the growing demand of clients with business interests across Britain and Ireland for representation in multiple jurisdictions by a single firm.

The London offices were opened yesterday by Lord Kerr of Tonaghmore, Justice of the Supreme Court and former Lord Chief Justice of Northern Ireland.

Johnsons specialises in media law/reputation management, intellectual property, personal injury, dispute resolution and professional negligence. It also has an expanding corporate and commercial practice. Senior partner Paul Tweed said the move was a “natural progression for us”.
