Entertainment Ireland is entering into the spirit of the St Patrick's Day celebrations, with a tongue-in-cheek Spot-the-Shamrock competition. Entrants can win £200 (€254) in cash if they spot a small shamrock graphic that appears on Entertainment Ireland's home page (www.entertainmentireland.ie) between 12 noon and 3 p.m. next Tuesday.

The first person to click on the shamrock, enter their name, telephone number, e-mail address and press the "enter" button will be the winner. The winner's name will be posted on the home page by 4 p.m.

According to Mr Julian Douglas, managing director of Entertainment Ireland: "There are over two-and-a-half-million websites worldwide and many claim to be of Irish interest, but here at Entertainment Ireland we promote Ireland to the people who actually live here. If you're looking for some blarney about genealogy, leprechauns and little people, you've come to the wrong place."
