Seven software firms have been shortlisted for the Irish Software Association 2000 annual awards, the winners of which will be announced next Friday. For "company of the year" the shortlisted firms are Baltimore Technologies; Cr2; Eontec; Managed Solutions Corporation; Norkom Technologies; Parthus and VistaTEC. Shortlisted for the innovation award are Baltimore Technologies; Changing Worlds; Eontec; Managed Solutions Corporation; Network 365 and Norkom Technologies. In the category for new company of the year, the finalists are Changing Worlds; Cr2; Digital Channel Partners; Eware; Marakech; Network 365; Openet Telecom; Performix and VistaTEC.

The awards are sponsored by Davy Stockbrokers, Enterprise Ireland and Logica.
