Datalex announced on Thursday that it has appointed Dan Creedon, a former CRH executive, as its next CFO, effective from January 1st.

Mr Creedon was CFO of CRH's Europe Materials division between 2017 and 2019 and, prior to that, he held the same position in Tarmac, a CRH company. He also previously held senior finance roles at Cisco, Lenovo and Dell between 2000 and 2014, following a decade spent with Intel.

Niall O’Sullivan, who joined Dublin-listed Datalex as CFO in June 2019 as the Dublin-listed travel retail software group was reeling from an accounting scandal, said in September that he was leaving the company after being involved in a massive restructuring of the business.

The Irish Times reported earlier on Thursday that Blackrock Healthcare Group, the umbrella company businessman Larry Goodman is forming over the Blackrock, Hermitage and Galway clinics, had hired Mr O'Sullivan as its finance chief.
