Goodbye Jamie. So long Nigella. My new favourite cookery show is the YouTube channel Sorted. It’s basically one chef and his three friends having a bit of a lark while cooking up a storm and making the kind of food that’s easy enough to attempt but different enough to impress people as your signature dish. They’ll win you over with the ultimate grilled cheese sandwich made from scratch (including the loaf of bread); you can almost smell the butter frying and hear the crust crunching. But all of this culinary knowhow is shot through with lots of humour and silliness. For geeky types there’s a wonderful Tetris shortbread recipe.
