Google Chrome’s ‘100,000 Stars’

This interactive guide to the galaxy is so called because it allows the user to travel through an accurately mapped out 100,000 stars, outwards from the sun to our solar system, beyond one light year and out further into stars near us and eventually rising above the Milky Way to get a bird’s eye view of what is known as the Galactic Plane. Clicking on stars such as Kruger 60 will bring up information and a close-up view with 360-degree rotation.

This is a beautiful rendered interactive tool that will appeal to adults and children alike.
