Irish software company Greenfinch Technology has signed a €1 million deal with Sherwood Compliance Services of London.
The Dublin-based company said the deal for a technology development project will support a number of new jobs in the immediate future.
Greenfinch sales director Conor McWade said the contract will cover the design and development of a number of new technology systems based on the Microsoft Azure platform and mobile technologies such as Microsoft Surface, Apple iPad and Google Android.
“This contract will increase our UK business by 50 per cent which when taken with increased business activity in Ireland will mean that we will be hiring quite a number of new staff in the coming months,” he added.
Greenfinch Technology currently employs more than 20 people in the Dublin docklands. Its clients include the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, Novartis, H&K International and AgFetch.
