GAMING:Amaya Gaming now owns almost 90 per cent of Irish-based online gambling software specialist, Cryptologic, which it is in the process of buying for €31 million.

According to reports at the weekend, Amaya owns 89 per cent of the Dublin-headquartered company, which it launched a bid for last February.

Canadian-based Amaya has extended the final deadline for acceptances to June 25th. The offer is now unconditional, as the purchaser owns more than 75 per cent of the company. The company develops on-line betting software and branded games and hosts casino and poker websites.
