Irish software firm SoftCo expands US customer base

Providence Hospital and UPMC CancerCenter network sign up for SoftCo’s products

Irish software firm SoftCo has expanded its customer base in the US as it rolls out its products to healthcare organisations and networks.

The firm said it had successfully put its purchase-to-pay healthcare product into Providence Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina, and its claims management software eClaims into UPMC Cancer Center, a network of cancer physicians and healthcare specialists with 39 locations in the US.

Closer to home, the company said it had done deals worth €1 million for its SoftCo eClaims 2.0 software, which is concentrating on delivering cost savings to hospitals.

The new version of the software has gone live in Waterford-based private hospital Whitfield Clinic, and automates internal hospital financial processes including billing, receivables and cash receipts alongside reporting and analytics to maximise revenues.
