Notin: a no thrills, no frills note-taking app

Notin will not replace Wunderlist but it will work as a handy quick-fix for urgent to-dos

The advantage with Notin is that you’re stuck with a reminder on your phone’s home screen until you dismiss it

I like to take notes and tick checklists so I’m always on the look out for a newer, better app. Wunderlist is one of the best out there (it is platform agnostic and syncs well across all devices). Still, I have a wandering eye and like to see if I can do any better.

Notin is my current note-taking fling, and the appeal lies in the simplicity. Tap on Notin and a text field appears that looks like a message pop-up. Add your reminder, hit the ‘+’ button and it appears instantly as a notification. Once you’re done swipe to get rid of it. It’s that simple and no frills.

The obvious advantage is that you’re stuck with a reminder sitting on your phone’s home screen until you dismiss it. Notin is far from feature rich so it will not replace Wunderlist, but it will work as a handy quick-fix for urgent to-dos.
