The newest addition to Samsung’s Galaxy smartphone line-up, the Galaxy Alpha, will be launched in Ireland today.
At less than 7mm thick, the phone is one of the slimmest Galaxy devices ever, and is equipped with a heart-rate monitor and fingerprint scanner.
It also includes features such as ultra-power saving mode, the S Health fitness app and connectivity with the latest Samsung Gear Fit, Gear Live and Gear 2 wearables.
The Galaxy Alpha will be available in black and gold colours from tomorrow in Carphone Warehouse, O2 and Three.
Samsung Ireland director Gary Twohig said the Galaxy Alpha phone “focuses on both beauty and functionality”.
