Irish tech start-up Boxever has appointed former Skype executive Laura Shesgreen as chief financial officer.

The company, which offers predictive marketing and customer intelligence for travel companies and retailers, said the appointment would expand the team with top-level talent.

Ms Shesgreen has more than 20 years of experience in high-growth, international technology companies, and previously worked at NTERA Limited and eVite Inc, in addition to her role at Skype.

“As demand for Boxever’s approach to understanding the customer and creating real, one-to-one interactions grows across the globe, the need to expand our team with top-level talent has become more crucial,” said chief executive Dave O’Flanagan.
