VIEW: Your professional network on LinkedIn
The clever people at LinkedIn have come up with a mapping tool which lets you graphically see how the members of your network are connected. The InMaps tool shows who is in your network and groups them according to how you know them, eg colleagues in your own company, web designers, friends and family. As a result you can quickly see which of your contacts know each other but also which parts of your professional network might need beefing up.

WATCH: Free Irish TV on your PC
While TV3 and RTÉ have enhanced their online catch-up services recently, sometimes you just want to watch live television on your PC. Enter Magnet Web TV which enables any Irish web user to access live streams of RTÉ 1, RTÉ 2, TV3, e3 and TG4 from their PCs by simply registering. There’s also a useful electronic programme guide and integration with Facebook and Twitter which makes the service even more useful than your TV at home.

EXPLORE: 100 of Dublin's hidden gems
Putting Google Maps to good use, the creative types at Designing Dublin have created a map showing 100 things you may not know about Dublin city centre.
Based on street interviews with more than 2,000 people, the list includes sites such as Blessington Basin and activities such as periwinkle picking on Sandymount strand.
Designing Dublin is a collaborative learning initiative which brings volunteers together with Dublin City Council staff to engage Dubliners to talk and learn about their city. It seems to be working so far.

INSTALL: Aviva's Health Mate app for Android
The free Health Mate app from Aviva is now available for Android phones as well as iPhone 4. Aimed more at those who want to get into fitness than existing gym bunnies, the advantage it has over international apps such as Nike Training Club, is that it details walking and running routes around the country. It also now supports control of your music player from within the app.
