Telecom equipment maker Tellabs yesterday said it expected second-quarter restructuring charges of $262 million (€309 million), larger than previously anticipated. In mid-April, the company, which employs more than 700 people in Drogheda, Co Louth and Shannon, estimated restructuring charges at $150 million to $225 million.
