Who runs it? Hibernian, in collaboration with the British-based Institute of Advanced Motorists.
What is it? A one-day driving course for policyholders, running as a pilot scheme since September.
Who can do it? There are 1,000 places in total up to the end of the year and another 4,000 after that.
The course is targeted at young and inexperienced drivers but is open to others.
The pilot scheme is open to Hibernian clients of two years standing, their sons or daughters, or those who were named drivers.
Participants have to be accident free for two years, hold a full licence and own their own car.
What's the incentive? The course is free and drivers, who successfully complete the course, will qualify for a 20 per cent reduction in their motor premium.
What about the curfew? The second part of the Hibernian scheme is aimed at the same group.
If they agree to restrict their hours of driving, and refrain from driving between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. every day, they will benefit from a further 10 per cent reduction in their premium.
The take up by drivers on this element of the scheme has been poor.
