TENNENTS has just launched yet another brew - known as SD for Smooth Draught - on to the crowded Irish market. Continuing the SD theme, Tennents boasts that the new product is significantly different, stops discomfort (it has less gas), has a slight delay (takes 90 seconds to settle) and is strength delivered (with a high alcohol content).
It is Tennents' third draught beer in a year and follows a host of other beer brands launched in recent months, not to mention alcoholic lemonades and the like. Always with the reader in mind, the Margin undertakes to take them all for a road test.
