Euro zone debt concerns look set to remain centre-stage this week, even if a deal for Ireland has been agreed over the weekend as expected.
As a result, today’s release of the European Commission’s latest economic outlook is expected to attract plenty of attention.
The press conference following Thursday’s ECB monetary policy meeting will also be carefully watched. Although interest rates are expected to remain unchanged, markets will be looking to see if the central bank plans to scale back its liquidity support measures.
