Following last week's news that Ireland's economy has officially sunk into a recession, this week's economic data is unlikely to reveal any light at the end of the tunnel.
The Central Statistics Office will release September's Live Register figures on Wednesday. Given the number of job cuts announced over the summer, the numbers joining the dole queues will most likely have increased.
