Three join ISME board

The Irish Small and Medium Enterprises Association (ISME) has appointed three new directors to its board

The Irish Small and Medium Enterprises Association (ISME) has appointed three new directors to its board. The appointees are: Ms Maria Moore of Hibernia Steel Products; Mr John McGreal of Dublin Gear Company and Mr Donal Kelly of Seamless Aluminium. The appointments bring the board to its full strength of 10 directors.

Mr Oisin Mulcahy has been appointed to head the newly launched Irish operations of the recruitment company, StepStone ASA. Mr Mulcahy was previously an executive director of the Jefferson Smurfit Group.

Ms Kate McCoy has been appointed marketing manager at TDI Ireland, a subsidiary of CBS-Viacom. Ms McCoy is a graduate in law from UCC and holds an MBS in International Marketing from UCD. She will be responsible for the overall marketing, public relations and development strategy of TDI in the Republic and Northern Ireland.

Epson UK has appointed Ms Katrina Timmis as its channel manager for Ireland. Ms Timmis was previously a corporate sales manager for Epson in England and Scotland.

Mr John Brennan has been appointed general manager of the Four Seasons Hotel Dublin. Originally from Blackrock, Mr Brennan graduated from Cathal Brugha Street, Dublin College of Catering with degrees in hotel management and catering. He holds an MA from Dublin University.

BSM Consulting has appointed Mr Pat Heffernan as service manager for Information Systems Consulting. Mr Heffernan has more than 25 years experience in the IT industry, including 10 years in a consultancy capacity.

Mr David McArdle has been admitted to the accountancy partnership of Fitzpatrick, Morris Barrett. A native of Dublin, Mr McArdle joined Fitzpatrick Morris Barrett in 1988 and qualified in 1995.

The financial recruitment consultancy, HM Harrison Willis, has appointed Mr Ray Moloney as senior consultant in its Dublin office. Mr Moloney has more than nine years experience in the finance industry and has worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers and MCS Direct.

Edelman PR has made two appointments. Ms Noleen Murray has been appointed account director and Mr Darren Connolly has been appointed account manager.

Ms Joanne Jennings has been appointed development director at Belfast City Centre Management Company. Ms Jennings holds a masters in marketing, a degree in European Business and is a member of the Institute of Marketing.

Heneghan Public Relations has appointed Mr Conor Kavanagh as an account director. Mr Kavanagh joins the company from RTE where he worked as reporter, programme editor and deputy programme editor. The Roaring Water Bay Spirits Company has made two additions to its management team in the Republic. Mr Martin Corrigan has been appointed general manager Ireland and Mr Philip O'Shea has been appointed financial controller.

Mr Corrigan has just returned to the Republic after spending five years in London as sales director with World Brands Duty Free. Mr O'Shea joins the company after returning from Central and South America, where he held the position of financial controller with Fyffes.
