A Co Down company specialising in the production of timber mouldings for the building and DIY industries is investing £2.25 million in the relocation of the business to new premises in Warrenpoint.

Cranwood Industries, which employs 23 people, was set up in August 1994 to develop machined timber moulding activities in a range of woods for use as skirting boards, architraves, and decorative cladding.

Its managing director Mr James Reynolds said that the relocation would enable the company to bring all its operations within the one complex.
