The Margin's latest "shamrock update" on the Bord Failte logo row is pleased to report that it is back to the future on the Department of Tourism's website.

The old shamrock logo still welcomes browsers to the Department's site together with a welcome from the Minister . . . Enda Kenny, a mere two-and-a-half months since Dr Jim McDaid was appointed to the post.

The section of the website entitled "What's new?" had a paragraph mentioning the ESRI report on EMU, issued in July 1996.

The welcome from the website reads: "Virtual Ireland is good, but there is nothing like the real thing." This one is certainly nothing like the real thing.
