TROCADERO, Europe's biggest indoor entertainment complex, has bought the copyright to Enid Blyton's books in a £14.3 million deal. To fund the acquisition from Darrell Walters, which is controlled by the Enid Blyton family, Trocadero is raising £29.4 million through a share issue.
The company also revealed its first set of results since demerging from Burford Holdings at the end of last year. For the 12 months to the end of December, profit after interest amounted to £2.4 million on turnover of £9 million.
