ProsCon, a Cork-based company which supplies process control engineering equipment, has reported a 30 per cent increase in turnover to £12 million (€15.24 million) for 1998 and said it planned to take on 25 people this year "based on new orders already received".

The company expects turnover this year to rise by 25 per cent to around £15 million. An expansion of its Cork site is under way and two new offices in Dublin and Southampton have been established. Most of its clients are large pharmaceutical companies including like Warner Lambert, Pfizer, SmithKline Beecham and Roche.
