Unitech Systems, a Dublin-based technology services company, has been named Oracle Business Partner of the Year. Founded in July 1998, the company has generated £6 million in revenues since its set up. According to cofounder, Mr Tomas O'Leary, revenue is expected to double next year.

Unitech specialises in consultancy services on large to mid-range IT systems, and its clients include First Active, Canada Life and ITG. Mr John Appleby, managing director, Oracle Corporation Ireland said the award to Unitech "reflects the entrepreneurial drive in the Irish IT market at the moment."
