Muzu.tv's new jukebox
WATCH: Irish music video site Muzu.tv has been making waves internationally with its comprehensive catalogue of content. Its latest feature makes the site even more essential: simply input the name of an artist, hit the jukebox button and the site will generate a playlist of videos from similar acts. No more arguing over the music at parties then.

Ireland's GP List
INSTALL: The best iPhone apps are often the simplest. That's certainly the case with Ireland's GP List, which lists more than 4,000 doctors and, probably even more importantly, contact details for their out-of-hours service.
At a modest 79 cents, this is one app that you probably won't use that much but will more than pay for itself on that one occasion when you need a doctor in an emergency.

Codeorgan composer
PLAY: Some techies clearly have too much time on their hands and the people behind Codeorgan, which admittedly is a lot of fun, clearly fall into that category.
Type in a web address and Codeorgan (read it as "code organ") plays music generated by applying algorithms to the source code of the webpage. Who knew IrishTimes.com sounded like Latin-tinged electronica?

List of cultural icons - in the literal sense
VIEW: Need a handy reminder of the "memes" or themes that dominated the noughties? Check out this grid of icons representing the fears, fads, couples, logos, nouns and verbs that dominated the decade 2000-2009. A little US-centric, but worth a look nonetheless.
