Beat gridlock with Twaffic Navigator
Claiming to be the first real-time traffic app for the Irish market, Twaffic Navigator is available for iPhone, BlackBerry and other GPS-enabled smartphones.
It provides turn-by-turn navigation as well as near-real time information on accidents, roadworks and other bottlenecks.
At €50 for one year or €70 for two, it is not cheap, but Twaffic Navigator is likely to appeal to business travellers who can use it to log their journeys and so quickly calculate their mileage for expenses claims.

ASK:Facebook Questions is a new beta feature of the popular social networking site, which allows you to ask questions such as "where to surf in Portugal?" or "what's the best pizza in Dublin?"
The questions will be seen not just by your friends but anyone who has an interest in the topics with whom you have tagged your questions. Currently it is only available to a small number of Facebook users but expect it to be more widely available shortly.
