A mother and son were among four people in Northern Ireland disqualified from being company directors after a wine-bar they owned closed owing creditors more than £340,000 sterling (#564,690). Mr Edmund Torrens and Ms Sarah Jane Torrens from Ballymoney, Co Antrim, were disqualified by the High Court in the North for six years arising out of their conduct as directors of Brooks Wine Bar Limited. Two fellow directors, Ms Orla Connolly, also from Ballymoney, and Mr Stuart McFeely from Randalstown, Co Antrim, were disqualified for three and two years respectively.
