Xpert Technology, the company used by Mr Aidan Farrell to acquire Reflex's manufacturing and services subsidiaries in 1995, has expanded into Britain with the acquisition of Gandalf Digital Communications. No consideration has been disclosed. Gandalf, based near Manchester, has 800 customers in Ireland, Britain, Europe, the Far East and the US. It builds and supports data communications networks for banks, insurance companies and other organisations.
