The Irish Times has teamed up with Bord Bia to offer two lucky readers the chance to win one of two tasting trails in either Dublin or Cork.

Life is Better with Fruit & Vegetables

Bord Bia is excited to partner with Fab Food Trails as part of their Life is Better with Fruit & Vegetables Campaign, in a bid to encourage millennials to increase their fruit & veg intake! Currently, the average number of portions of fruit and vegetables for millennials in Ireland is 3.2, with the government recommending up to seven per day. Answer the question below to be in with the chance of broadening your food horizons and winning one of two scrumptious prizes, see more information below on how to enter.

Prize 1:

Dublin Tasting Trail for four people (one winner can take three friends) - www.fabfoodtrails.ie

On a gentle two and a half to three hour stroll, visit six to seven different places, all independently owned, tasting in each place and meeting the purveyors or makers. The tastings reflect the current food scene, bringing new international and contemporary tastes to the Irish table and all using great Irish produce. As you enjoy the food, you and three friends will also learn a little about the culture and history of our lively and charming city from your local guide. There are lots of tastings and lots of meetings as you stroll the city’s small and very local gastronomic gems and neighbourhoods.

Prize 2:

Cork Tasting Trail for four people (one winner can take three friends)

The Cork Trail is a relaxed but highly-focused two and a half to three hour food stroll with an engaging and experienced guide. You and three friends will be brought to places that are off the usual food route where tastings are generous and the people lively - Cork people are enormously proud of their food. There is a little culture and architecture along the way.

This competition is now closed.
