The Dublin Horse Show is back next month, taking place from Wednesday, August 14th to Sunday, August 18th in the iconic grounds of the RDS, combining sport, style, and socialising in the heart of Dublin.
The show is packed with five days of action, starting with the pageantry of the opening day on Wednesday, August 14th. On Thursday, the Best Dressed competition will see someone walk away with a cash prize worth €10,000. And let’s not forget the iconic Aga Khan trophy on Friday.
This year’s dedicated Family Area, located at the Church grounds, will keep children of all ages entertained with its wide range of activities and experiences. Thrilling adventures are on offer, where children can test their bravery at the climbing wall, meet furry friends at the Nore Valley Park Mobile Farm, or find their thrill at the Mini Defender Driving Experience. For those looking for creative fun, there will be face painters, balloon artists, and roaming circus acts. The educational and inspirational engagements, including the pop-up Gaeltacht and Positive Strides exhibition, combine fun and learning for children of all ages.
This year, the Dublin Horse Show will be taking online registrations for Best Dressed, which will take place on the Band Lawn on Thursday, August 15th. Those who pre-register for the Best Dressed competition will be entered into a draw to win a Charlotte Tilbury hamper worth €400 of luxurious products!
Prizes for the Best Dressed Competition:
- First Place: €10,000 cash prize provided by 1664 Blanc.
- Runner-up: Two-night bed and breakfast at the five-star Morrison Dublin, Curio Collection by Hilton, plus a two night bed and breakfast at the Aleph Rome Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton and a €100 airline voucher.

9. The prize is a family pass, which includes two adults and three children under 16 years old, to the RDS Dublin Horse Show. There will be two winners.
10. All prizes will be subject to any additional terms and conditions of the supplier of the prize to the Promoter. This voucher can be used only at the Dublin Horse Show 2024, main arena seat ticket are not included and cannot be refunded or redeemed for cash.
11. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or consequential damage of any nature in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise caused by the acceptance of the terms and conditions or in connection with the prize.
12. In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for an alternative of equal or greater value.
13. The winners will be notified by email. The winner must claim the prize before August 13th, 2024. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with the Promotion rules.
14. The promoters’ decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
15. The winners’ details (name and county) will be made available on The Irish Times website.
16. The winner may be required to participate in unpaid publicity arising from this promotion.

18. Prizes are non transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
