The Station House Hotel is giving one lucky Irish Times subscriber the chance to win a Sunday stay for two people, a three course Sunday lunch and breakfast the following morning.

Arrive to the family-run Station House Hotel, which is tucked away in the quaint village of Kilmessan, in the heart of Ireland’s ancient east and on the acclaimed Boyne Valley Drive, and head for their beautiful Signal Restaurant to enjoy a delicious three course Sunday lunch (served from 12.30 until 7pm) featuring the very best Boyne Valley and irish seasonal produce from local Kilmessan farms. Enjoy some fresh air after lunch with a walk around The Station House’s 12 acres of lush manicured gardens and woodlands, or head further afield to the Hill of Tara, book a round of golf on one of the nearby Championship golf courses, or join Randal Plunkett at Dunsany Nature Reserve for a two hour re-wilding trek (must be pre-booked). Afterwards, find a cosy spot in the Platform Bar beside the fire with a complimentary hot drink of your choice – you might go for an Irish coffee, a hot Port or a hot toddy. Stay overnight in one of the beautiful guestrooms and start your Monday perfectly with a cooked to order breakfast.
