LONDON - More than 1,000 people fled their homes last night as fire swept through a six storey block of flats. Selsdon Court, Dormers Rise, Southall, West London, and surrounding flats were evacuated as 100 firemen fought a blaze in the roof area. A dozen people were taken to Ealing Hospital with minor injuries.
