ALREADY previewed on this page last Saturday, next Wednesday's furniture and fine art auction on the Hamilton Osborne King premises in Blackrock, Dublin, has a number of attractive pieces of Irish furniture among its 400-odd lots. These include a mahogany inlaid longcase clock dating from circa 1770 and bearing the signature of J. Crampton of Dublin. It is expected to fetch £2,000-£3,000, while a mahogany three-door wardrobe by Robert Strahan of Dublin from the middle of the last century carries a pre-sale estimate of £1,000-£1,500.

A pair of Irish 18th century mahogany brass-bound plate buckets has an estimate of £5,000-£7,090, an Irish early 19th century mahogany sideboard with triangular pedimented galleried back should make £2,000-£3,000 and an early 19th century Irish mahogany serving table has a price of £3,000-£5,000.
