The second edition of Tableau, Cork RTC's interdisciplinary journal will be launched on March 10th and features contributions from, among others, Dr Roy Johnston and Miroslav Holub on the theme Futures and Directions. Makinalasmak, a multimedia art installation featuring a circus tent and highlighting "the absurdity of epoch parochialism" which has been created in conjunction with the journal will open at the college the following day.. . Also in a techno vein, Exit, a computer installation by Smith Sweeney (Blaise and Niall to their friends) opens March 12th. The pair will give a public lecture on their work the following day... Meanwhile Dublin City University Arts Week begins next Tuesday, when De Danann will give a concert at the Larkin Theatre at 8 p.m. Other events include storytelling, music and poetry readings and continue until March 15th...
