ON Saturday there is a Memorial Day for Sean Dunne, the accomplished Cork poet, who died last year aged 39. There will be an O Riada Mass at Cuil Aodha Church in Ballyvourney at 5 p.m. and at 7 p.m. in the Abbey Hotel, Ballyvourney, there will be the launch of a special edition of the Cork Review which is dedicated to Sean's work... Next week is RossDana poetry week in New Ross, Co Wexford. Jamaican poet, Benjamin Zephaniah, Liverpudlians, Adrian Mitchell and Adrian Henri, and Kerry born Brendan Kennelly will give readings, along Sean Dunne side native Wexfordians like Philip Casey and novelist Vincent Banville ... Tom McIntyre's Go Tell the Bees performed by Irish Modern Dance and Conall Morrison's Hard to Believe by Bickerstaffe are just two of the shows to visit the Garage Theatre in Monaghan this Autumn.
