MUSIC NEWS:Arthur's Day will return to Dublin, Cork, Belfast and Limerick for its third year on September 22nd.

Originally intended as a one-off celebration of the 250th anniversary of Arthur Guinness's lease on the St James's Gate brewery, the 2009 event proved so successful that organisers have continued with the new tradition by bringing a host of international artists to play a variety of pubs and venues around Irish cities each year since. This year's star attractions are a mixture of established acts and newcomers. Scissor Sisters, Calvin Harris, Paloma Faith, Stereophonics, Ash, Aloe Blacc, Miles Kane and Ed Sheeran, while Ryan Sheridan, Cashier No 9, Royseven, Bressie, Keywest, The Lowly Knights, A Plastic Rose and The Kanyu Tree head up the Irish delegation.

Tickets go on sale on August 4th.
