The residue of furniture from Athlumney House in Navan, Co Meath, together with a number of other pieces, is due to be sold next Tuesday by local auctioneers, Mullen Bros. Beginning at 1 p.m., the sale features a large mahogany mirror backed sideboard from the mid 19th century (estimate £1,500- £1,800), as well as a mahogany serving table from around the same period (£1,000-£1,200) and an oil on canvas called Bay Hunter by G.D. Rowlandson (£1,200-£1,500).
