A RARE copy of Henry O'Brien's Phoenician Ireland, with notes and additional plates, will be among the items for sale at the national book fair in the Masonic Hall, on Dublin's Molesworth Street, next Monday from 10 a.m. This copy of O'Brien's work was published in 1833 in London, carries an inscription from the author and is understood to have been owned by Anthony Trollope, since it bears the latter's bookplate. It is being offered for sale by Martin Walsh Books.
Other dealers taking part in the fair include Davidson Books from Co Down, Craobh Rua Books of Armagh, Schull Books from Co Cork and Shay Howell of Dublin, specialising in first editions.
