Once upon a time there was a unicorn called Sparkle. Sparkle lived in Rainbow Land.
She always wanted to get wings, but her wish never came true.
The only way she could get wings was to meet Buttercup the butterfly.
On the way to meet Buttercup the butterfly, she saw spiders and ran away.
She also saw some birds, but they were too high up to call them.
Sparkles looked all around, but she couldn’t find anything to get over the spiders.
Out of nowhere, a magical wolf with wings popped up and helped her with the spiders.
“Hello, my name is Black Storm. I could help you with the spiders if you want,” said the wolf.
“Okay!” said Sparkle.
“First you have to do me a favour, then I’ll do one for you. I want to be reunited with my family,” Black Storm said. “Wait – you haven’t told me your name yet.”
“How do you not know me?” asked Sparkle. “I’m the only unicorn in this village. And, of course, the prettiest. Anyway, my name is Sparkle. How can I help you find your family?”
“I know their scent. But I was fighting another wolf and I lost my sense of smell. I have a bit of my son’s fur. If you could smell it, then you might be able to find him,” Black Storm told Sparkle.
They searched the woods and the mountains, but they still couldn’t find Black Storm’s family.
“I see a bit of black. That could be my family!” said Black Storm.
“Let’s check it out,” said Sparkle. “It is my family!” Black Storm shouted out.
He got really excited and ran over to them. “Okay, let me help you with your problem now. We’ll go find Buttercup.”
“The spiders are more scared of you than you think,” Black Storm told Sparkle.
“But they’re so crawly!” said Sparkle.
Suddenly, Black Storm fell from the sky because he was weak from fighting his enemy.
Sparkle’s horn had magical powers and she saved Black Storm.
“Thank you for saving me,” said Black Storm. “Now I will bring you to Buttercup.”
They found Buttercup, but she was busy crying because she lost her teddy bear, Buttons.
Sparkle used her magic horn to find Buttons.
Buttercup was happy and they became best friends with Sparkle. Buttercup gave Sparkle wings.
And they lived happily ever after in Rainbow Land.
