Transition Times is looking for transition-year students to write about their experience of the year. You can write on your own or with a friend. You can write about anything you like, but, if you're stumped, you could begin by answering these questions.

Any interesting work experience?

Are you going away? Write about your trip.

Has anything interesting happened to you during the year?

What's the best thing about transition year?

What's the worst thing about it?

Is transition year a waste of time or the best year yet?

Just write it from your point of view. It can be about just one thing you've done or you can tell us about the full experience. Pieces should be about 400 words long, so get writing and send them in.

If you're interested in doing something but unsure what to write, just get in touch and we'll have a chat about it.

The address to e-mail is gfaller@irish-times.ie. Be sure to include your full name and a contact number. Looking forward to hearing about what you've been up to!
