Former pupils of the Christian Brothers in Cashel, Co Tipperary, will be interested to learn that the entire contents of both monastery and school are to be sold on the premises next Saturday by auctioneer P.J. O'Gorman.

Among the approximately 350 items to be sold are a Victorian, mahogany three door breakfront bookcase (estimate £2,500-£3,000), a William IV breakfast table (£1,500-£2,000) and a Victorian mahogany D end dining table with two extra leaves (£1,200-£1,500). A Victorian mahogany serving table is expected to make £1,500-£2,000.
