A heading on an article in Thursday's editions stated wrongly that John Taylor had been appointed to EU committees. In fact he was appointed to two committees of the Council of Europe.

An article in Thursday's editions under the heading Concern at operation of Cavan kidney unit stated wrongly that 25 patients were receiving dialysis treatment weekly in Cavan General Hospital. The unit treats 18 patients weekly.

An article in yesterday's early editions stated that Jim Kemmy had twice been lord mayor of Limerick. Mr Kemmy was mayor of Limerick.
