An editorial in yesterday's newspaper incorrectly implied that the Kyoto protocol was signed a decade ago. In fact, Kyoto was signed in 1997 and 1990 was the base year from which emission reductions were measured.
A headline in yesterday's front page news digest column which stated "Government spending to rise by almost £14 billion next year" should have read " . . . to rise to almost £14 billion".
The use of the word "stoned" with reference to occasional cannabis use in yesterday's article on Trinity House special school was not a direct quote from a Department of Education spokesman but a slang term used by the reporter.
